Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine has a unique style that blends R&B with gospel, soul music and R&B. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway up to the Democratic National Convention to the European music scene and the club scenes. Sunshine was born Denise White. Her birthplace is Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her career in music by playing the piano and singing in church. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on Atlanta's R&B music scene. She became the primary piano player for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice and her music, invited Sunshine to sing in the Dreamgirls production at the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was noticed by the nation during four performances per day at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later invited to sing for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
